Description
After the first snorkeling session, we will head to a small bay formed on the island, where conditions are shallow, between 1 and 2 meters. Here we will be able to swim with the reef sharks that gather in the mangroves. Afterwards, we will approach a small cliff inhabited by sea lions, which dive into the water to play and perform acrobatics. This area is also ideal for swimming with sea turtles, thanks to its excellent visibility that allows us to observe them resting on the bottom
Back on the boat after the first snorkel, we will sail to our next destination, passing by Roca Sin Nombre, an intermediate point in our trip. Here, the guide will ask the group if they wish to participate in an optional fishing demonstration. After this activity, and en route to our next destination, the crew will prepare the tables to serve an exquisite lunch while enjoying the surrounding scenery.
After a brief rest, we will disembark at La Fe, a hidden treasure on Santa Cruz Island, accessible only by sea. Tide permitting, we will take a walk around its inlet, where we will be able to observe sea lions and marine iguanas. In case of unfavorable conditions, we will take advantage of more time for snorkeling. We will have our second snorkeling session in this beautiful inlet, home to numerous marine iguanas, black-finned sharks and sea turtles.
At approximately 15:00 hours, we will return to the boat to return to Puerto Ayora, estimating our arrival around 16:00 hours.
