PAYMENT POLICIES:
Payments: Once the reservation is confirmed via web page, email or whatsapp, the passenger must make the full payment of the reservation in order to confirm the spaces.
Once the payment has been made, please send the following information:
- Passenger’s name and surname
- Age
- Nationality
- Nationality
- Passport or ID card
- Food restrictions
- Allergies
- Hotel where you are staying
PAYMENT METHODS:
- Bank deposit
- Credit card
COMMITMENT:
The passenger agrees to follow all the rules of the Galapagos National Park and the tour operator regarding the time and meeting points to avoid missing the contracted tour.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Updating your clock to Galapagos time (UTC -6)
IMPORTANT:
GALAPAGOS XCURSION will not be responsible for refund in the following situations:
- If the passenger arrived late and because of that missed the tour.
- Cancellations on the same day for personal reasons, health reasons or no-shows, passengers in an alcoholic state or under the use of narcotic substances.
- Differences in prices paid by different passengers on board the same tour, including last minute prices.
- It is not possible to change the day of the tour for personal reasons, health or any other situation of the
passenger. If you wish to change the day of the tour you must do so at least 7 days in advance. - In case of any accident of any passenger during the tour and having to return to the Port.
- Itinerary changes, weather conditions, mechanical failures and/or force majeure problems. GALAPAGOS
XCURSION will provide passengers with the best option for their safety and enjoyment.
CANCELLATION POLICIES:
Once the full payment of the excursion has been made and if the requested service is cancelled, the values will be refunded according to the following detail:
- From previous days to 30 days 70% of the total value.
- From 30 to 20 days 50% of the total value
- From 19 to 10 days 25% of the total value
- From 9 to 01 days No refund.
- FROM LAST MINUTE SALES (if the passenger purchases the tour the day before the tour and for any reason decides to cancel his trip there will be no refund).
IMPORTANT:
Visa, passport and / or entry papers to Galapagos are the responsibility of the passengers and will not be justification for the cancellation of tours and activities contracted with Galapagos Xcursion.
Cancellation by COVID
The same policies mentioned above will apply.
GUARANTEE POLICIES:
* In the event that Galapagos Xcursion for reasons of overselling, fails to comply with a confirmed reservation (this means that it has completed the process of booking and payment confirmation), Galapagos Xcursion will grant a refund of all payments made by passengers.
* In case of force majeure beyond the control of Galapagos Xcursion, or for reasons related to natural phenomena, increased rainfall, landslides or others that put at risk any partial, total or one of the excursions offered and scheduled, Galapagos Xcursion will offer an excursion or activity of similar characteristics as a safe travel alternative for its passengers.
* In case that being in any trip organized by Galapagos Xcursion, one or more passengers decide to suspend their trip, Galapagos Xcursion will not reimburse any value of the trip and the passenger will lose the totality of the money, without any claim for reasons of not seeing any particular species of flora or fauna, such as the sighting of a bird, Galapagos Xcursion’s priority is to coordinate the activities in the best way, however it cannot control the nature or any natural phenomenon or the climate of the promoted areas, for this reason it will always try to ensure the safety of the passengers.
* In case Galapagos Xcursion for reasons of not filling the required quota may cancel the trip up to 24 hours before the start of the trip without any penalty, and will return all amounts paid by the customer. Taking into account that for reasons of covering operational costs there must always be a minimum number of participants for each route promoted by Galapagos Xcursion.
* If Galapagos Xcursion is forced to change an activity within its itinerary for security reasons and force majeure and/or caused by natural phenomena, and the client does not accept the new activity will not receive any refund, since the proposed alternative activities are designed for the welfare, safety and integrity of each of the passengers of Galapagos Xcursion.
