Española is the southernmost and one of the oldest islands in the Galápagos archipelago, famous for its extraordinary wildlife density. It’s the only nesting site in the world for the waved albatross, present from April through December, and home to marine iguanas, blue-footed and Nazca boobies, and the endemic Galápagos hawk.
