Floreana is the least populated and most historically rich island in the Galápagos, known for the Post Office Bay tradition dating back to the 18th century, where visitors still leave and collect postcards by hand-delivery from fellow travelers. The island’s coastline includes Punta Cormorant, with its distinctive green-tinted sand beach, and a lagoon frequented by flamingos.
Just offshore, Devil’s Crown — the eroded rim of a volcanic cone — is one of the region’s richest snorkeling sites, with strong currents drawing rays, reef sharks, and colorful fish.
